SETTLEMENT WEEK - August 4-8, 2025

We are excited to bring this successful initiative to Medina County! Each year, during the first full week of August, the Court will match private mediators with Court-identified cases to streamline and resolve disputes. This program is designed to get you in and out of court in one day by focusing on one shared goal: your settlement.

Here's how it works:

Our goal is to help you reach a mutually acceptable agreement on the same day you walk into court. Skilled mediators will work directly with both parties and attorneys, focusing on resolving contested issues efficiently. This process will save you time by eliminating waiting periods between multiple hearing dates and status conferences.

As always, we are committed to making your experience in our Court meaningful and efficient. Settlement Week is an opportunity to reduce the stress of seeking resolution by resolving your case in a timely manner

What to Expect During Settlement Week:

• Selected cases will be assigned to one of the experienced private mediators
• Once an agreement is reached, the terms will be written and read into the official record of the Court with a magistrate or Judge Schafer present.
• All of this will happen in one day, allowing you to get back to what matters most.
